Two Local Agencies Support Toys for Tots Campaign

The Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame contributed to the Toys for Tots campaign organized by the office of Leadership Northeast, located in downtown Wilkes-Barre. These two non-profit agencies, have cooperatively purchased and collected, boxes of new, unwrapped presents to be distributed to less fortunate children at Christmas. This is the third year for the LCSHOF committee, and first year working along with the Leadership Northeast staff, in providing support for this vital campaign. These gifts were collected at the Leadership Northeast office, and will find their way to the US Marine Corp, Toys for Tots coordinators. “We are thankful to align ourselves with such giving, community servant leaders, that work to strengthen and improve Northeastern Pennsylvania”, noted Jim Martin, President-LCSHOF. Jess Cronauer, Executive Director-LNE adds, “Leadership is honored to partner with the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame for our Toys for Tots Campaign. Their involvement has greatly enhanced the value of our donation.”
