Leadership Northeast (LNE) creates leaders who become agents of positive change in their communities and their organizations. In 2025, our five programs graduated nearly 200 participants who were developed through our philosophy of servant leadership. From high school students to senior executives, these participants gained the skills to become community advocates and promote positive change throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and throughout their organizations.
LNE empowers leaders, strengthens community, and drives change in so many ways, and it begins with the Community Impact Project. This real-time application of their leadership development allows our participants to utilize the skills learned in our programs while making a profound and positive impact on the community. Participants must work through their differences of opinion, behavior, and perspectives and find common ground because we believe that learning how to bring people together, despite these differences, in order to accomplish something extraordinary is the true definition of leadership.
Class of 2025 Community Impact Projects alone benefitted children and adults with special needs, individuals experiencing food insecurity, the visually impaired, families in housing transition, veterans, mothers, animals, those in recovery, students, and families in 16 school districts, and so many more.
A Contribution to Leadership Northeast Impacts Hundreds of Nonprofits and Thousands of People
Most importantly, the Community Impact Project process teaches our graduates that they can and should make a positive difference in their communities and their organizations. The work begins during their time with LNE, but it continues throughout their lives.
With your support, we will continue to develop and empower graduates who become more invested in this community. With your support, we will provide scholarships so LNE programs are accessible to all leaders who will drive change in their organizations. With your support, LNE graduates will continue to make an invaluable impact on this region.
