Leadership Northeast has announced it has received a $10,000 grant from the PPL Foundation to support its Amplify: Women’s Leadership Certificate Program.

The Junior Leadership Northeast program recently received a $2,500 donation from the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA).

Leadership Northeast proudly announces that 70 students from 15 area high schools celebrated their graduation this spring at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.

Leadership Northeast hosted its annual dinner and graduation Thursday evening at The Woodlands Inn. The event celebrates the group’s graduating Core Class of 2023 and welcomes the incoming Core Class of 2024.

Thursday marked a big night for Leadership Northeast, who hosted their 42nd Annual Dinner and Graduation at the Woodlands Inn. The night honored Leadership Northeast’s graduating Core Class of 2023, the incoming Core Class of 2024, and Catherine O’Donnell, Esq. with O’Donnell Law Offices, the recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Leadership Award.

An artist was putting the finishing touches on a mural in Pittston on Friday. ‘Help’ is written in English, Spanish, and sign language to raise awareness for the impact of sexual assault. The Northeast Leadership Program came up with the idea, saying sexual assault can impact everyone.

Dr. Charlotte Casterline toured the newly renovated third floor of the building that formerly housed her medical practice and rarely stopped beaming. Husband Peter occasionally offered some history behind the space now set up for the artistic expression of children who attend the day care center using the structure.

Leadership Northeast on Tuesday announced that Catherine O’Donnell, Esq., of the O’Donnell Law Offices, will receive the 2023 Distinguished Leadership Award at the 42nd Annual Dinner and Graduation, set for Thursday, June 8, at 5 p.m. at the Woodlands Inn.

Leadership Northeast recently received a $2,000 donation from the Luzerne County Bar Association Charitable Foundation.
