Leadership Northeast recognized its Amplify: Women’s Leadership Class of 2025 during graduation ceremonies on Wednesday at Wyoming Seminary’s Kirby Center for the Creative Arts.

The Leadership Northeast Core Class of 2026 had the unique opportunity to meet Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro during their Volunteerism and Servant Leadership program on Nov. 6.

Leadership Northeast (LNE) is proud to announce that it has received $2,250 in scholarship funds from the Luzerne Foundation to support participation in the Amplify: Women’s Leadership Certificate Program. This funding made it possible for three women to enroll in the program and graduate as members of the Class of 2025.

At Friday’s ribbon cutting ceremony for Northeast Sight Services renovated accessible kitchen, President/CEO Amy Feldman said the kitchen represents more than just a room.

Leadership Northeast on Thursday honored C. David Pedri, Esq. of the Luzerne Foundation, as its 2025 Distinguished Leadership Award recipient at the 44th Annual Dinner and Graduation, held at the Woodlands Inn.

Students from 17 area high schools graduated from the Junior Leadership Northeast (JLNE) program on Wednesday night at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.

A fountain trickles. Zen music plays quietly. Dim lighting illuminates comfortable seating, a beverage center and books and artwork for inspiration. When Tunkhannock Primary Center teachers and staff feel stressed, overwhelmed or anxious, they can recharge in a repurposed mailroom.

Each year, the members of the Leadership Northeast Core Class take on several Community Impact Projects aimed at bettering the community. And for eight members of the class of 2025, their project is not only going to require a lot of work, but also a green thumb.

Leadership Northeast, a nonprofit community-based program that aims to help develop and implement civic projects, is shooting for another project in Wilkes-Barre as they look to renovate part of the Zebulon Butler House.
